Well Rooted bloomed from the compost of my own experience. Life can feel good and it doesn't have to be complicated!
While in school and working as a therapist, I started suffering from severe illnesses and conditions, such as Lyme Disease, Mold Toxicity, PTSD and Anxiety. After bouncing around the conventional medical system I eventually found my way to functional medicine. I started to use my psychotherapeutic expertise in my own treatment in addition to the other functional modalities. After watching this cycle of illness and disenfranchisement occur with my clients as a trauma therapist, I left the traditional therapy space and got trained as an integrative health coach. I have since been in remission from all conditions and working in a functional medicine practice supporting folks heal through severe chronic illness as well as those seeking wellness. Together we have all been learning how to nourish our roots.
It is an honor working with women as their therapist and coach to reclaim their sense of self, prioritize their needs and drastically change their lives with the WellRooted approach. It brings me so much joy watching folks gain their lives back and feel invigorated again!
